Evil Under the Sun

At Devon’s Jolly Roger resort, Arlena Stuart Marshall openly cavorts with Patrick Redfern while her husband and Patrick’s wife helplessly watch. Later Arlena’s lifeless body is found in the sand at a nearby cove. The evidence seems to point to Arlena’s husband as the murderer, but Hercule Poirot, who just happens to be on holiday at the tony hotel, doesn’t settle for such an easy answer. Everyone is a suspect, and the evidence includes voodoo practices, drug-smuggling, religious mania, bank withdrawals, mysterious love letters, and two murders from the past.
