Remember the twin golden rules of hitchhiking? First, don't go hitchhiking, because the driver who picks people up could be certifiably crazy. Second, don't pick up hitchhikers, because the traveler getting pick up could be certifiably crazy also. So what if, on some dark, isolated road, the crazy person in rule number one offered a ride to the crazy person in rule number two?
