Synoptic Exercises for a Level Geography

Miller, Gill, Lane, Chris

Overview

The final synoptic unit of A level geography courses assesses a student's ability to draw on the understanding of connections between the different aspects of the subject presented in the specification. Students need to be able to manipulate a variety of stimulus materials; to make links between an unfamiliar situation using knowledge and understanding acquired during the A level course; and be able to make reasoned, informed geographical statements in that unfamiliar context.
