The novella Metamorphosis was written by Franz Kafka that was first published in 1915. It is one of Kafka's most well-known works, Metamorphosis, tells the story of Gregor Samsa a salesman, who wakes up one morning to find that he has been inexplicably transformed into a huge insect. He subsequently struggles to adjust to this new circumstances. Numerous interpretations have been put forth after in-depth analysis of the book by literary critics.
