Kafka‘s masterful story of Gregor Samsa is literature that still unbroken fascinates. The Metamorphosis is often cited as one of the seminal works of short fiction of the 20th century.<br/><br/>One day Gregor Samsa wakes up from a disturbing dream. He had transformed into a monstrous verminous bug. „O God, what a demanding job I‘ve chosen!“ he thought. Then the traveling salesman realises slowly that the metamorphosis has become reality.
