Don't Go Pet a Porcupine

A series of therned poetry books to support the National Literacy Strategy. Each title contains a range of poems including both modern and traditional poems by significant children's poets. This series is beautifully illustrated with full-colour photographs. Don't Go Pet a Porcupine includes poems about a variety of different animals from everyday animals like cats and dogs to more unusual and mystical animals. There are poems by children, classic authors and both new and established modern children's poets.
