Overview

Jane Austen’s fourth story, Emma follows the titular character’s youthful hubris and misplaced confidence as she plays matchmaker and finds herself partaking in romantic misadventures and the perils of misconstrued romance. Emma quickly runs into complications while attempting to pair people off, and as people find they love others those complications multiply. In the end, Emma can’t quite figure out who loves who, but ends up discovering love herself.
