Can a poor girl survive among the intrigues of the wealthy? Fanny is constantly reminded that she is beholden to her wealthy family and what her place is in life. She must disregard her growing feelings for the man she loves and watch him throw away his affections on a woman of high society. Will Fanny fight past convention? Will love conquer all?
