Northanger Abbey

The daughter of a clergyman of respectable, albeit modest, means, young and imaginative Catherine Morland has just arrived in Bath for the winter. An avid reader of gothic novels, she sees the world through the eyes of mystery and danger. But when her imagination starts to disrupt her social life and put at risk the regard of those around her, Catherine begins to see that it is time to perceive reality for what it is, before it is too late.
