Persuasion

Persuasion is a novel written by author Jane Austen and set in Bath, which was a health resort that Austen had lived at in the early 19th century. It is a story of Anne Elliot, who falls in love with a poor yet ambitious naval officer. Her family being upset with her choice, persuade her to end the relationship. Eight years later, Anne re-encounters her former love and finds that he is working to court her younger neighbor.
