Auguste Comte and Positivism

Auguste Comte, was widely influential within his time, influencing figures such as Karl Marx, John Stuart Mill. Mill, maintained a close relationship with Comte, working closely with Mill (who was refining his own system) developed a new "Religion of Humanity". This work was originally published in 1865.
