The Poetry of a Speaking Spirit

About the Author Lynn Painter was born on August 6, 1971 in Norfolk, Virginia. He graduated from Norview Senior High School in 1989. He has two children, a son DeAndre and a daughter Chelisa. After high school, he served seven years in the army; two of the seven were spent in Germany, and the last five at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. In January of 2002 he went to ECPI Technical College majoring in telecommunications. He graduated with an associates and honors. Lynn started writing poetry in 2001 after receiving a spiritual awakening. Currently he resides in Richmond, VA and continues to write poetry. His next book of poetry, “Description of a Poet“, is due to be released summer 2006. Lynn's poetry has been featured in “Average Girl the Magazine”. He is currently working on a short novel.
