Mr Punch

A dark fable of childhood innocence and adult pain. A boy tries to make sense of the lies and fantasies of a sinister Punch-and-Judy man and a woman who makes her living playing a mermaid. McKean and Gaiman's "Signal to Noise" won the Will Eisner Award for best graphic novel in 1993.
