The Game-Players of Titan

SPHERE, 1977, third printing with yellow rocketship cover art.. First published in 1963 by Ace Books, this is the British paperback edition. A classic Philip K. Dick novel, this one involves a depopulated, post-apocalyptic earth. The remaining humans play a board game called "Bluff," and the outcomes determine marriages, status and property of the players. The Game is administered by amorphous, silicon-based aliens from Titan, Saturn's largest satellite.
