None of them will reach their destination.\\nOut of nowhere, an invisible barrier descend son the city like a crystalline and unbreakable bubble. While coming down, it cuts a groundhog in half and amputates a gardener’s hand. The plain Claudette was flying crashes into the dome and plummets to the ground engulfed in flames. Dale Barbara, Iraq war veteran, must return now to Chester’s Mill, the place he so wished to leave.\\nThe military puts Dale in charge of the situation, but Big Jim Rennie, the man with one foot in every dirty business in town, does not agree. The dome might just be the answer to his prayers.\\nAs food, power, and water become scarce, children start having chilling premonitions. Time is running out for those under the dome.
