The Dark Tower, Books 1-3: The Gunslinger / The Drawing of the Three / The Waste Lands

These new editions of <i>The Gunslinger</i> and <i>The Drawing of the Three</i> along with <i>The Waste Lands</i> are available in this special Gift Set with a single slipcase stamped with two colors of foil. <p>Stephen King has authorized this limited reprinting of the first two books in the Dark Tower series, <i>The Gunslinger</i> and <i>The Drawing of the Three</i>, to enable us to match them with our remaining copies of the the First Hardcover Edition of <i>The Darktower III: The Wastelands</i>. <i>The Gunslinger</i> is the third hardcover printing (The first two were in 1982 and 1984) while <i>The Drawing of the Three</i> is a new edition (original printing was in 1987) as Phil Hale has painted ten brand new oil paintings for this special edition. He was one of the artists who illustrated our edition of <i>The Talisman</i> and was also chosen by Stephen King to illustrate the first edition of his novel <i>Insomnia</i>, published by Mark Ziesing. Phil was 23 when he illustrated this book eleven years ago and has done another incredible job for this new edition.</p> <p>The slipcase, which holds all three books, is bound in black leatherette and stamped on the spine in silver and maroon. The slipcases are stamped with all three titles and are suitable for housing the First Editions of these books.</p>
