The Trial
Details
In the novel "The process" Kafka wants to tell us the loneliness of man; the impossibility of establishing a membership relationship with the world that surrounds him and to find in his daily plot of gestures and events a plausible sense; the inability to be realized in a dimension of authenticity; the awareness of her condition excluded, 'alien'; the sense of being the subject of a determination of which ignores the purpose and ultimately its alienation. The novel, written mostly in 1914 and published posthumously in 1925, tells the story of Joseph K, a scrupulous clerk thirties bank, which receives, at the apartment in which he lives, a summons in the name of a mysterious tribunal, by part of two strange policemen who declare it under arrest. A process against him for a crime that is unknown.
