Mansfield Park, Jane Austen’s third novel, tells the story of an overburdened family sending ten-year-old Fanny Price to live in the household of her wealthy aunt and uncle at their country estate, the titular Mansfield Park. Following her development into early adulthood, she and the people in her world explore life and love, society and propriety, morality and values, until eventually Fanny falls in love and marries.
