Our right-brain’s perspective, experiences, needs, desires, wants, goals, likes and dislikes are to many, non-existent, as they live their allotted span of existence on earth from only a left-brained analytic perspective. As far as most people are concerned, the only purpose of the right brain is to dream, an attitude fostered by most left-brained civilizations. What Taoist masters, Tibetan monks, Rosicrucian mystics, Buddha, the Khrist, Zoro-aster, Robert Monroe’s Monroe Institute participants, of whom I am one, and a host of others have done, is to learn how to allow the body to go to sleep, while maintaining our sense of self, the left-brained “I”. This skill allows the left-brained ‘I’ and the right-brained “I” to get to know each other and gradually merge. From time immemorial this skill has been called ‘Knowing Oneself”. The reason Hitler wanted to exterminate all none Ger-mans; the reason the Aztecs and Incas were decimated; the reason native Americans are still treated as strangers in their own l∧ the reason George Bush Jr. said Osama Bin Laden was in Afghanistan then started a war in Iraq; the reason the African Diaspora are scattered throughout the free world via 400 years of slavery, despised and alo≠ The reason Jews and Arabs are at each other’s throats; the reason decency and love is always rewarded with a bullet and a rope; The reason so many educated and uneducated alike can only comprehend the gross, the hard, the scum on the pond rather than the lotus floating above it, is the same ...the human brain is divided and survival-driven humans exclu-sively value only the analytical and survival functions of that brain to the detriment of other humans and the planet.
